Healthy living|| How To Make A Simple Breakfast Salad In Five Minutes

Hello guys and welcome to a new week!

Monday is here again and in all our preparations and plans for the week I'll bet y'all forgot one important detail.

If you're like me then this post is definitely for you. Most times due to the stress of the week and my rush to beat the clock I always forget to take breakfast and I can bet that so many people do.

This is mostly because we don't have time to prepare a lengthy meal or we got no clue on what to make within five to ten minutes. Well, you don't have to worry because I got you covered.

Starting from today I'm going to be sharing at least one breakfast recipe a week for people like me who skip the most important meal of the day.

Today  going to share one of my favorites. It's a simple salad recipe which is not only healthy and affordable but also delicious and yes crunchy. I love my crunchy.

OK, without further ado, let's dive in shall we?

Recipe

With Ham

With Chicken

Ingredients

• Meat - (Chicken or Ham. It depends on your preference. I like chicken more.)

• Cabbage (One small head)

• Sweet corn (1 can)

• Onions (optional)

• Lemon Juice ( 1/2 a lemon)

• Mayonnaise  (2 table spoon)

• Cayenne pepper (1 tea spoon)

• Salt (1/2 a tea spoon)

Preparation

• Wash properly and shred the cabbage and lettuce.

• Chop your onions and cucumber. Put into a clean bowl with the shredded lettuce and cabbage.

• Add your already cooked chicken or ham. If you're using the ham then it's better to chop it into cubes but if you're using chicken, then shredding it is preferable. Put this in the bowl as well.

• Add sweet corn, pepper, a pinch of salt,  some lemon juice and two spoons of mayonnaise.

• Stir to mix your ingredients together. Make sure that they're properly mixed so you get all your flavors.

Voila! You've got yourself one healthy breakfast.

This recipe was made four at least for servings. Feel free to adjust as it suited you and be creative enough to add some other ingredients to jazz it up a bit.

I hope you like this recipe and you get to try it at home.
